Every transaction must be physically reviewed and confirmed on that device before it executes — so even if your phone or computer is compromised, your assets cannot be moved without your physical approval. If your device is ever lost, you can restore access using your Secret Recovery Phrase on a new device.
Ledger Live has been renamed Ledger Wallet. The underlying app is the same powerful tool — it's simply been rebranded to reflect all the new features added beyond what a "live" tracker offered. There is no traditional login — Ledger Wallet uses no email address or password. Access to the app is granted through your physical device and its PIN code.
